The alliance of CASUS BELLI MUSICA and BEVERINA proudly presents the next vinyl release: “Zápor” mini-album by the outstanding avant-garde black metal band THY CATAFALQUE!
This mini-album was supposed to be just a bonus for the “Köd utánam” CD box set, but now it is available in an extended 7-song format.
The work of the Hungarian poet Miklós Radnóti (who was killed by the Nazis in 1944) fundamentally affected THY CATAFALQUE in the early days of the project, so it is not surprising, that for the album “Tűnő idő tárlat” (2004) the composition “Zápor” was recorded with Radnoti’s lyrics.
Now this song (as well as “Csillagkohó”, “Neath Waters”, “Bolygó, Bolyongó”, “Kék ég karaván”, “Héja-nász az avaron” and “Az Ősanya Szól Ivadékaihoz”) has been re-mixed and remastered especially for “Zápor” mini-album.
As long as the original recordings of bass and female vocal parts were lost, they were re-recorded by Zoltán Hegyaljai-Boros and Martina Veronika Horváth, respectively. The drums parts were also changed, and the viola (performed by Zoltán Hegyaljai-Boros) was added.
